The Clinton Elks Lodge 2434 (On Sidney Road Rt 617 in Pittstown) is open to the public. We hold events to raise money for "Special" Needs Children and NJ Disabled Veterans. We hold an Annual Toy Drive in November, and with the help of you, the public, we have been very successful. We wanted to give you a website so you can gain access to our events, or have contact information to plan your own. Please pass this site along to your friends and family and ask them to get on our mailing list, as we are trying to spread the word on our events.

Whats Going On At the Elks

We now have a Happy Hour Monday thru Friday 3-6pm. And On Thursdays we have Happy Hour all day and the Pool tables are free!!

Going Green

The Clinton Elks is doing our part to GO GREEN. There is now a box at the lodge to recycle Toner Cartridges, this is an interesting way to recycle and also fundraise for our various charities.

The Veterans Committee

With our Veterans overseas and NJ Disabled Veterans in the Lyons hospital, there is alot to do. From visiting the veterans for holidays, Collecting old cell phones to change into phone cards for our soldiers, they are in need of non-perishable Food items, The VA Lyons Hospital is always accepting donations of New and gently used clothing including t-shirts, sweatpants, shirts , new socks, boxers/Briefs, and slip on shower shoes. Other items that are appreciated are Stamps, Envelopes, stationary, pens, Baseball Caps, gloves, gift cards to grocery stores, phone cards, Ect. We also have a drop box at the lodge for Magazines to be sent to our soldiers overseas. Also being a part of the Army of Hope Picnic and Lyons Hospital Pizza Parties is always a way you can show your support. If you would like to be a part of this wonderful Committee, Please contact your lodge chairperson.

There are drop boxes in the lodge room at the Clinton Elks.

 

 

ENF

There is a water bottle on the bar at the lodge, It Reads "ENF is thirsty, Maybe you can buy it a drink sometime." For those of you that don't know what ENF is, it's the Elks National Foundation which is a national fund that helps various charities Nation wide such as, Special Children, Veterans, Army of Hope, The Miracle Run, and funding for US National Disasters. Thanks for your donations.

D.A.R.E. Picnic

The Franklin Township Police Department with the help From The Clinton Lodge will be holding a Drug Awareness Picnic on Saturday July 20st from 11-4pm. The event will feature rides, games and a petting zoo for all the children. There will be emergency vehicles on display, for all to see. There will also be music and Prizes!!

Garden State Underwater Recovery Unit Clam Bake

On Saturday July 26th From 1-7pm The G.S.U.W.R.U. will be holding its Annual Clam Bake at the Clinton Elks Lodge. The cost of tickets will be $30 in advance and $40 at the door per person, Tickets are available to purchase at the elks lodge or you can call New Brunswick Elk Member Jerry Boylan at (908)236-9235. The Menu includes: Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Sausage, Corn on the cob, Clams and other seafood, beer & soda.

Elks Camp Moore Picnic

On August 3rd, there will be a picnic at Elks Camp Moore, it starts at 2pm. I encourage any member to take this trip to see what the B.P.O.E. does for these Special Children. This experience is truly Humbling and inspiring.

From the Garden State Parkway
GSP North take Exit 153 B (A left turn exit). You will be on Rt. 3 West. Take Rte3 West to Rt 46 West. Continue on Rt 46 for 4 miles and get onto Rt23 North. Follow Rt 23 for 7 miles (on your right you will pass McDonald’s, Bradlees and the Pompton Queen Diner) At an Amoco Gas Station, make a right turn onto Newark Pompton Turnpike. (WARNING: DO NOT TAKE any earlier exits for Newark Pompton Turnpike or you will get lost). You will now be headed toward Riverdale, Bloomingdale and Pompton Lakes. Go to the end of the road (1 mile) and turn right onto Hamburg Turnpike. At the first traffic light make a left onto Ringwood Ave. At the third traffic light, make a left onto Union Ave. (at the underpass for Rt 287) 1/4 mi. mile down Union turn left onto Susquehanna Avenue. Bear right UP THE HILL TO ELKS CAMP MOORE.

FROM ROUTE 287 North
Take Rt 287 North to Exit 55. Make a right turn onto Ringwood Ave off the exit. Immediately get over to the left lane. At the first traffic light make a left onto Union Ave. (at the underpass for Rt 287). At the second traffic light , make a left onto Union Ave. 1/4 of a mile down Union turn left onto Susquehanna Ave. Bear right UP THE HILL TO ELKS CAMP MOORE.

FROM ROUTE 287 South
Take Rt 287 South to Exit 55. Make a left turn off the Exit onto Union Ave. 100 feet on Union make a left onto Susquehanna Ave. Bear right UP THE HILL TO ELKS CAMP MOORE.

 

Walker Brother's Circus

Where: The Clinton Elks Lodge 2434 at 210 Sidney Rd Pittstown NJ

When: August 4th & 5th

Time 5:30pm and 7:30pm Nightly

Craw Dad Night

On August 6th the lodge has scheduled a Craw Dad Night starting at 5pm. If you are interested, there is a SIGN UP SHEET at the Clinton Lodge, The Cost is estimated to be $6.00 per pound. Come on down and enjoy some good food and a good time.

Ride For The Rotary

The Flemington Rotary Club will once again be holding a Poker Run and Clambake at the Clinton Elks Lodge, on Saturday September 13th from 12-5pm.

Flea Market

The Clinton Elks Lodge 2434 in Pittstown NJ will be hosting a flea market on September 27th, 2008, 8am-2pm. All vendors are welcome, it will be $15 for a 15x15ft  Space. Sign up sheet in the Lodge or call lodge for more info...

Oktoberfest

The Clinton Elks " The Chicken Coop" will host an Oktoberfest again this year The date for this event will be October 11th 1-9pm . $10 donation per person, Children under 12 "FREE", Food and drink will be available for Purchase...This benefit is for Handicapped Children, & NJ Disabled Veterans.

Band Line Up as Follows: Ed Saultz and "Sonas", Smoke Shifters, Dyer Weed, Citizen's Band Radio, The Kathy Phillips Trio, and 90 Proof. There will be 50/50's, Raffle Items, & giveaways.
